Fisheries

I think we should be able to raise and cultivate fish. Every fish should have a male and female version, and any fish can be raised in a fishery. Fishery can be a building like a rabbit hutch or a chicken coop. Feed your fish worms, or maybe add a few recipes for making fish food from plants/seeds/animals.

Every so often the fish produce roe, and after a while the roe becomes new fish, with quality based on the feed just like a chicken coop or rabbit hutch.

Good idea this would fix fish having low q and make them one of the best foods in the game

What Op is describing sounds like an aquarium. Those aren't really used to produce food.

With technology level present in HnH, only real aquaculture would be to augment rice agriculture by introducing carps into the water that is used flood the rice fields.

there are fishnodes around 70 out there, and with gridirons existing , fish and meat can be pushed in q intoo astronomical levels,

fish is already one of the best foods in game, seriously, some panseared recipies put autum stake to shame, and for 0,5hunger it becomes hard too beat an gridboosted filet.

fish is fine this world, people just arent used to it being this good.


on the other hand. i dont understand why people want too grow every last recource inside there palis all the time, there are already less and less reasons for anyone besides your hunter too leave base , foraging is an joke, always has been past midgame, but the most commonly needed produces frpm foraging all can be grown inside, and the curios dont hold up at some point. no need to make fishing obsolete, imo

even if village banners and sails are all full of anime, may i remind you we arent playing in an asian setting. ricefields are an no .

mybe the concept is new too you, but there are things called "ponds" . raising fish isnt that hard, and people figured it out on different continents,
