Spelunking cave for a first time to be more dungeon-like

Game already going in the way when cave spelunking become a thing more and more, every new opened untouched cave is a good source of cave clay piles and dust gems, star shards and gem patches. It gives new kind of gameplay of discovering entire cave just when you achieved access to it.
It would be even greater if some new unique monsters will be added, they will have unique loot, won't disappear or spawn, unless found in new untouched caves. Cave spiders, giant moles, giant moths or even just bat dungeon bats could be these creatures. With this adding every freshly discovered cave would need to be cleared just like dungeon, a good entertainment for party.
Bosses can be in cave halls too.

+1 for that. I like the idea of being ambushed by lonely giant caverats or giant grubs who likes to sleep in a calm place hidden in the caves. Or something like non-agressive giant cavemoth with it glorious wings?

I just want mini-"mine dungeons"

A small crevice in the ground that appears in cave layers that has hostile creatures and ores. Probably in the form of mineable chunks like meteorite, although with a set quality. Gives us a truly sustainable source of metal, and a better approach to mining and combat. That is, combat then mining. Not mining constantly and frustratingly interrupted by combat.
