I would be rly curious to hear Jorb's opinion on siege/death, TBH. I feel like the game switches between which demographic it appeals to almost every world, which seems kinda bad.

For my style of play the world tier list is, like:

S: 12 (small, high population density, needing meteor was bad)
A: 10 (Hate the industry grind, like the character grind, like teleportation making population density good, only world with good markets)
B:
C: 13 (world way too fucking big), 14 (world wayyyy too fucking big, character grind not fun)
D: 11 (dogshit, world too big, oceans, autistic grind)

i started playing this game legit in 2010 in world 3 and i see little reason to bother without pvp or siege

sorry i don't want to kill moose for 5 months and feed turnip to pigs and larp. this is a pvp game stop listening to the freak ass farmville crowd. they don't keep your game alive. world 4's fucking moot/ICA is 10x bigger than ours is now

and don't blame muh discord, fucking NOTHING happens now because no one plays because there's no pvp or reason to play. comfort is fucking boring, you don't attract a playerbase with permadeath and pvp and raiding and then delete those things, wholesale, for no reason and replace them with the last 2 years of birds and hats

Could make the same argument about luring in pve players with a rich crafting system and many ways to happily decorate their base. Lure them in just to make them fodder for players whose parents never loved them.

Hell, I bet you neither autistic pvpers nor autistic crafters pay the dev's bills anyway. It's the rich IRL hermits who shell out tokens to buy stuff they're too lazy to get themselves.
