As my favorite mod would say, perhaps Microsoft should be the ones to fix the issues with hafen from their side

I have a friend who is trying to get into haven on his new Windows11 computer, but it keeps crashing. Any advice you can give?

I would tend to agree, but...well...Microsoft.

Often when stuff like this happens it's a java compatibility thing. But specific errorlogs are definitely needed.

If it's a new computer with Windows 11, there's your problem.
By the time you fully configure and 'break' a new windows machine to actually function like it's supposed to, the computer is no longer "new", it's something you've had "for a while".

It's so goddamn malicious too. If they weren't cartoon villains they'd at least SOMEWHERE have the OPTION to put your taskbar vertically or use the classic context menu (right click). Nope, need to edit registries to get those things working. Amazing.
