Sundial Date

Postby sMartins » Sun Dec 18, 2022 9:45 am

Can we have instead of X day of y month of z year something more ..... human like, I mean the peasants' time? :) I can see the engineer's hand here, between the two :).

I would suggest just the season, summer, autumn, etc. ....
Or, if we want to be more detailed, something like this:

early summer of year 3, late autumn of year 7, etc... it would be pretty usefull too.
Or just early summer, late autumn ....

To be honest I wouldn't put any numbers ..... leave it to the realms to establish their own calendar, if they wish.

Thanks!

I find exact information very important considering seasons have impacts on things like farming timers and curio gathering.
Lucky: haven is so quirky
Lucky: can be so ugly, can be so heartwarming
Sevenless: it is life

Yeah, but it's a technology, so you have to build it .... just add something you can craft, nature doesn't give you time and a general information about the season you are in it's even way more "natural" and usefull for the player who just start to play the game.

Then yes, we can add a tech to scan the passage of time.
