Map Markers need Tooltips

I accidentally clicked "View unanswered posts" and saw this old thread of mine. Since there are currently no new posts, I might as well bump this.

If tooltips for map markers is somehow beyond reasonable implementation, I've previously complained about the core issue.

We can't. Can't guarantee the thingwall is known on your currently logged in character.
Perhaps you imported the map from someone else. Perhaps you discovered that particular thingwall on another character/account, and the map icon was saved locally, but you can see the icon on all characters/accounts you log into and play.
