Functional attached keys

Keys attached to domestic doves should still be usable if the bird is in your inventory.

So they can toss the bird to fly home when they're about to get downed in pvp? I guess?

I don't like it.

I'm guessing you are asking: "Why am I using birds?" (Why aren't you?)
I enjoy bringing birds out questing with me and sending them back to base; functionally extra inventory. Additionally mailing spruces items.

Or maybe you are asking: "mechanically what would this fix"
Currently you need to remove, then place the key into your inv/keyring use it, and then reattach the key to a bird.

You don't toss your rings onto doves when you get trapped in a losing fight?

The exact kind of bloat that's responsible for the game being the over-complicated mess it is.

You should not get to lock people in a killbox with outward facing gates even after you get KOed you because you had a bird in your inventory. The fact layman probably wouldn't even be able to interpret that sentence is proof it's right.

I can already trap attackers into my bone-zone and fly the key out with a dove, I just want it to work with one less click;
