It could win 1v1 against any other deck, even off-meta stuff like raven's bite which usually fucks with the meta decks not having quick dodge or some bullshit made just for 1v1s (We tested some clusterfuck decks that opened every opening and they were pretty good in a 1v1 but would be shit in normal pvp).
If i recall correctly it was the only move that allowed people to kill bears reliably before getting tinker axes. Honestly before the jugular nerf uac/melee hybrid was lowkey busted, basically everyone was running shield up and just spamming jugular (before steel, although i'd argue it was still top tier in comparison to b12 decks).
Absolutely right!
As you pointed out, b12 decks are meta, so considering the entire year, Go for the Jugular has a peak of about three months (with higher melee damage).
After that, it just becomes one aspect of diversity, known as "GFTJ decks" .
There's no need to completely kill the vitality of previously vibrant Unarmed Attacks.
IP2+2 with +10% Reeling and +15% Cornered is excessively harsh.
While it's not the same as having +10% Off Balance and +15% Cornered for the same Attack type and Openings, I felt some degree of adjustment was necessary and that's why I posted on the forum.
The balance adjustments are becoming too extreme.
However, I'm glad to hear differing opinions from alternative approaches.
