Make Foraging Great Again

Gardening as well as how good crafted curios are have completely removed the need for foraging past the earliest stage of the game. There are more things at play impacting this such as there being low need to actually study curios later into the world due to UA/MC equalization and crafting stats only requiring so much LP to be at cap, however, foraging should still be useful for something throughout the world.

LP used to always be something people cared about consistently throughout the entire world and foraged curios were the best LP around once upon a time. I'm not saying that LP needs to go back to being yugely essential all throughout the world or that gardening needs to be nerfed, however, foraging needs to be improved.

Foraging is something that gets players out of their villages which leads to player interactions which is great for the game. It adds excitement, results in potential friends, enemies, etc, all while giving you a reason to do it (you need what you're looking to gather). It would be nice to see new foraged items that are good consistently throughout the world and even really high requirement foraged items so you are continuously raising your exploration/perception.

Getting players outside their village to explore/interact with the world is something incredibly positive for the game and currently there isn't enough incentive for that past the initial setups. Foraging is a great way to to accomplish this while also being something useful.

Crossroad should get some huge buff. When people start to build them, it will be much easier to find someone.
