Sounds annoying, especially when you're trying not to leave a trace (which currently only requires you to remove the stump as well). What use cases would this be useful for? You can grab the fruit before chopping it if you want it.

Tree farming so you don't realize you accidentally cut your best tree without harvesting its seeds first?

I'm not super in love with the idea though sorry. And not because I'm worried about berries giving away my location or anything, it just seems un-necessary and kinda messy to me.

we definitely need more q10 apples in the decay pool, great idea, i was getting worryed i might actually dig something good out once the q1 odd tubers are filtered out,
atleast fishing never fails to give me q1 sand and fish other people caught,
