Allow us to use Alcohols as a spice.
-or- (scope creep option)
Alcohol reduction sauces that you can add to dishes (functionally similar to how we use truffles.)

hm, making cooking more complicated by adding another optional variable ingredient atop of spices sounds horrible to me, even though i would like it if alcohol had more uses,

there is one recepy atleast that uses brandy already, with plum pudding, i would rather see more recepys like that , or medical use than variable sauces,

just think of the possible outcomes, some recepy that takes 3 compound recources, each made up of 2-3 ingredients, with 3-4 variable marterials each, one of them can be smoked with any combination of 74 trees, ad one of 8 spices, +sauce made up out of 2 ingredients with 3 variable marterials each, +spice in sauce,

at an certain point i just ask my alchemists to make me an potion so i am not hungry anymore before forcing that up on the cook.

if we would get an alcohol expansion, i would rather see the ability to make grain alcohol, use it medically, and infuse it with different ingredients, and barrels, effectively turning alcohol intoo its own system akin to cooking or alchemy,
they would have to reduce the general tedium and timesinks out of the alcohol production though,
especially since it is all just about finding the 1 outlyer recepy that is actually good and only eating that,
