Bat Dungeon kinda shit

Bat dungeons are shit for what you get, even though we cleared one, the rewards are so bad that nobody wants to do more.

They are also unreasonably hard. Even when our group went in with 15 fighters, a meter room with like 5 purples gave us a hard time.

Meanwhile, the only really valuable reward compared to beaver(which can be cleared with 4 people instead of 15) is that bats don't attack you, and the item that lets you finish a credo quest, which rarely drops. Feels really bad and not worth it.

Here's what I propose, get rid of the rare credo quest item, and instead make it so that killing the bat boss automatically completes one credo quest for every person who participated. This would't even be that insane, but it least makes it worth the time, unlike now where we have 3 bat dungeons in the area, and nobody willing to clear them for their garbage tier rewards.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Still wouldn't be worthwhile.

You take the boss key and 500 bats nothing personel kid in. That's too much I'm just doing the credo bro

would be Batshit insane, litterally, keep in mind that every one in the dungeon at that time counts as having cleared it,
thats what makes the first bat dungeon such an nice event, to wich you may invite friend and family, farmers and fighters, free permanent batcapes for everybody,

now imagine your whole village collectively gaining one quest,
last world we did 3 batdungeons in an day, just for lulz, and i can honestly see how this would get abused somehow,

but yea, bat dungeon is unrewarding, especially in comparison to ant and beaver , the curiosity's are mediocre, bats have an tendency to be low q,
batrock dosnt look that great in most uses, the queen dosnt drop wings(why lorbtard? why? ) and the crown isnt great either,
with the only usefull drop being increadibly rare, most dungeons dont even have an single one,
and even then i would say its arguably worse than needles,

i think batsdungeons where intended to be weaker than beaver dungeon, at least thats what the loot implies, but they went seriously overboard with the difficulty, and cliffs in dungeons deserve there own subsection in bugs&critique

then again, permanent batcapes is such an waaaay better boon than 5% damage to beavers,
especially because that incentivizes non fighters to participate in the dungeon raid somehow, every dungeon should aim to do that,
even if its just your foragers carrying loot outside, bringing chests full of yarrow, food&drinks, because they want to raid antihills faster and dont be bothered by bats.
you can be support,

p.s. i pondered the whole thing for an bit and came to the conclusion that having the main loot of an dungeon being an singular ultra rare onetime use item is stupid, unless you can solo the dungeon, you raid it with 15 people and take the one good drop back to your potter/miner, with the rest of the loot being rather mediocre, this may feel unrewarding to participants even if it is beneficial to your village as an whole, and bars the whole experience from solo players/smaller groups
more , weaker, loot that is beneficial for the peoples doing the dungeon should exist, aside from curios,
giving the people that are able to do dungeons an reason to do them after their first one.
