Larger Stockpiles

Stockpiles should be increased to keep them relevant.

Most common container: Chest (36 slot)

Stone stacks: 3
Stone stockpile: 70
Stones in chest: 108

Hide stacks: 4
Hides in stockpile: 30
Hides in chest: 144 1x1, 72 2x1, 36 2x2

And so on.
Add the fact that you can't select specific items from a stockpile, and that most stockpiles will take up more space than a chest does, and you can easily see how much stacks have reduced the usefulness of stockpiles. Please just make them larger.

Stockpiles require nothing to make so its balanced for them to be smaller.
If anything containers needed a buff after they added stockpiles.
We have that perfect balance now with stacking and sketchbook pages.

yeah, but now it's to the point that it's more efficient to move stocks of material in chests instead of wheelbarrows

wheelbarrows are still very useful to load up different containers with fewer clicks

Stockpiles either should be buffed, or should at least work like containers in that you can open them and actually look through items (problematic with big stockpiles like soil).
As of rn all stockpiles, except 3-4 useful ones, are only used as a workaround to them not being shift clickable into places, or if you are too lazy to build containers.

Like it wouldn't be the end of the world if bone stockpile was doubled, it'd still be worse than a small chest (not to mention lc or cupboards), but would make a lot less clutter compared to current iteration.

Wheelbarrows are not useless, yet, but not very useful either. Other than moving blocks and boards, and few other items with large sizes that don't stack, they are only useful to remove coal from kilns.

So we either need larger stockpiles, or more QoL stuff for it (like being able to see what's inside, or adding selectors to avoid certain items from going in them, and such)... The only thing that got screwed up more by stacks than stockpiles are wicker pickers...
