Malaria (known as "Swamp Fever") is already in the game, but rather than coming from midge bite stacks it comes from midge bites taken in swamp biomes.

A nasty 'Allergic Reaction' condition can also generate when midge bites stack with other 'allergic wounds' like those from nettles, ants, bees, or adders. I had it happen while recovering from an adder bite with midges biting near dusk while harvesting from beehives, and it took longer to recover from than the adder bite.

no we definitely need actual malaria

allergic reactions aren't enough, thank you for mentioning

we need anaphylaxis, the logical progression of allergic reaction if it develops further

if you get some of these+dove cote disease it should legit kill you in a few hours if you don't fix it

this would be a really nice one, an extremely rare wound you get from the specific chomp and bite attacks

specifcally since rabies has an higher lethality rating for humans than those sprays that kill 99,9%of germs.
