Remove permadeath.
Remove PvP-related scents.
Defeated players simply drop their stuff and respawn.

Add more objectives like the Falling Star event so players have a reason to PvP that isn't just "because I can". These events should happen all the time and reward all kinds of cool resources.
Instead of Meteorite you have something like a pile of highQ clay, a patch of highQ carrots (based on server lead in carrotQ) or a super strong bear. Some will be announced globally, some only to nearby players, some you have to find yourself. Just like Meteorite you have to wait out a timer first to give players time to prepare. :o

I want to interact with other players and go out exploring but right now there is no reason to + permadeath just makes me avoid player interaction.
No permadeath + stuff to fight over = more PvP = more fun = game less dead :shock:

As a hermit, who enjoys every part of the game, except the pvp, I personally would be all for this.
I generally don't dislike pvp existing in games I play, as avoiding it, being able to run away etc, is an enjoyment of its own. (think runescape wilderness, where I don't pvp myself, but I love the thrill of escaping)

My issue with HnH pvp is that it's insanely one-sided most of the time. You meet someone from a village as a lonesome hermit? Yeah, you're more than likely dead. Add permadeath to that and that just makes people like me quit very easily. Skill issue? Probably, but for me personally, it's a shame.

I don't think anything will ever happen though, just thought I'd share my thoughts.
