Okay we talked about whale meat, and we talked about cheese. Are they kinda unbalanced compared to all the other garbage foods the devs provide us? Yeah, kinda. But what if I tell you there is something that is stronger than both of these combined.
Introducing truffles, also known as literally better pepper that give no wound.
Oh no whale meat makes a food that gives 120 feps compared to all these shitty foods that give 50 at most? No worries lil bro, just apply a 40 quality truffle to it to multiply base feps by 1.84 and add 23 fep of Will +1, resulting in a food that gives 115 fep, almost as good, and you'll say "well uhm akshually it gives will so it's worse", you are right my dear friend, but consider the amount of foods that give 50 feps that you would never fucking touch bcs you need to eat 3 of them to fep, now you can make them as good as a whale steak. But wait, what if you applied those truffles ALSO to whale steaks, yes it's just as busted as you think.
Now, truffles are annoying af to gather bcs devs made them so, and guess what they are just as bottable as every other annoying and tedious task (i won't tell you how, be creative).
So, I assume we are all on the same page on truffles being fucking busted (literally better than pepper) and one of the worst tasks to do in hafen, and while some people might still be like "well akshually it's not that bad, you still need to gather food to use them on, long-term cheese is still better than 40ql truffles and i will ignore the notion of using both at once", etc. Here is the catch:
THEIR QUALITY CAN BE IMPROVED BY QUESTING
You thought 40 ql truffles are good? Think about 300 ql truffles, or 900 ql truffles, world reset is the limit. The only reason it's not being complained about is that people who play the game long-term are not competent enough to bot these things or they just don't brag about it.
Yes, i tricked you all, you thought this was going to be a kind of post that concludes in "add wound to truffles"? No, it's yet another remove quests improving quality because they break the game long-term (arguably could be abused as early as month 1 if someone "tryharded" enough...).
