Thoughts about table

Devs nerfed salt a lot meanwhile table gives way more benefits and advantages at any point of the game

There are satiation and hunger to prevent character grind. What's the point? With good table you don't care about any of them.

Thoughts?

Good, solid thoughts. Square shape, four legs, overall a useful furniture in any home. :)

Hunger becomes irrelevant yes, satiations not really, they kinda try to force you to pace yourself if you don't want to be wasteful, obviously if you had infinite food you could grind infinite stats sure, but if you're eating let's say whale autumn steaks you have a limited number of them. Satiations make it so you want to space them out instead of eating them all at once (and use finisher food + alcohol, etc.), ofc you could just get more and eat more but then you run into the issue of each piece of food giving you less and you needing more fep so for most people it's not reasonable to eat at high satiation (unless we consider jobless behaviors or super late game automated food farms but who cares about that anyways). tl:dr satiations bad but keep some autists in check in the current feasting system.

Overall hunger comes to a point where you cannot reasonably outpace it's regeneration by eating food unless you really try, so you stay around 200-250% by nature (once again, except jobless behaviors). Hunger only really fucks you in the first week or two now that we don't get hunger resets anymore. Could hunger get removed without really fucking up the pacing? Sure, hunger wasn't a thing for the last couple of worlds anyways considering hunger resets and previously salt. Will it fix the feasting system? Not really, that needs a big rework and we will probably never get it. (viewtopic.php?f=48&t=74634 goes in on the topic and also mentions two other threads with suggestions)

And no, nerfing the table, making the hunger more important wouldn't make things better, it would force people to just stay at a lower hunger level where they can recover it reasonably and eat more food while grinding quests in their free time to recover hunger (remove questing btw).
