Add RSS functionality to the forum

As in the title, so I could subscribe forums for new topics and/or posts for new replies via external rss client. Cmon, the current "subscribing" method is obscure and stinks.

you need to filter manually all shitty topics created by spammers. not optimal

No. At least not when a certain person shits out 200 threads with his robben alts and an interesting thread is buried somewhere in the middle. Also you need to log in each time to access this.

+ many clients implement regex filters, so you can filter out all shitposters and steam newfriends or highlight certain keywords...

worth to mention that forum has ignore feature as well (however after recent shitters ban from jorb it's a bit more peaceful there)

There is an ATOM feed. I am not especially familiar with how it works, but I spent a few minutes at some point to set up a feed to post to my own discord when a new announcement gets posted by subscribing to
feed.php?f=39&mode=news

You can find some details on how it works if you google phpBB ATOM feed. I know you can get it to follow specific threads, new threads, new posts in general, etc.
It might have a bit of a delay, but that could have been whatever discord bot I was using. All I really cared about was getting a notification the same day if there are new announcements.
