In the past they started full which was overkill but then they got nerfed to empty (at least ive never seen any) which is really lame and boring

They should be half full or have 1-2 charges. This keeps the excitement of being the first to find them without ruining the game. They are all 1ql and ice crystals been nerfed to shit anyway.

Not sure I agree. First come first serve shouldn't be a thing, especially when this gives incentive to make an army of bots just to scout for nodes at the start of the world. There should be some time for everyone to scout the resources and their timers, so they can actually be contested at the start of the world.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

were you molested by bots as a child or why do ppl on this forum make everything about bots?

the only question is whether or not its more hype to discover these things with 1 charge or empty, obviously finding them empty is anticlimactic for every1, if u dont feel any excitement at all from finding world resource at start then u probably arent even capable of getting a boner either

Sounds like a classic case of "everyone's got a different take," kekw. It's true that starting with empty nodes is super anticlimactic—finding them with just a charge would be way more exciting. But the bot discussion always brings out the cringe, lmao; it's almost like some people can't get past it.

Bot/alt related discussions are not worth the energy used by pixels on monitor they are displayed in, let alone reading all that crap. Straight to the trash bin and disregard the person says in the future since they want to derail good threads by some "alt/bot considerations"

On topic: I agree! The nodes should start with atleast 1 resource

If worlds are only expected to last 6 months or so, that means that anything that takes 2 weeks to spawn will literally only have 12-13 items spawn on that node before everything is over. 2+ week spawn times on natural resources definitely has to be reduced.

As for whether they should spawn in with resources or not, I'd say they should spawn in empty but have a variable refill time so that everything doesn't respawn at the same time like it usually ends up happening. I'd like it even better if there was some stat requirement for checking how long it will take to respawn.
