NGL I hate stacks

I haven't played the game in past 3 years, but with steam release decided to get back to it.
I learned that items now stack in inventory.
And while I understand how huge of an QoL it is, basically making your inventory x4 larger... I absolutely hate it. It makes stuff so confusing, selecting things to craft with such a nuisance and transferring things to and from containers an absolute nightmare.

Please remove stacks...

Just disable the option, problem solved for you. I don't need to build hundreds of cupboards/piles for no reason because I killed animals and I like it like that.

The people I'm raiding have stacks. I am forced to used them and suffer. Nobody has empathy for my struggle.

Stacks are nice but they need improvement.
Sometimes its counter intuitive, for example trying to shift click stack of clay into kiln does not work.
Respectively trying to shift click bricks out of kiln does not stack them, but if you right+shift click the kiln itself, then they stack. Does not make sense.
