Some sound & system message for catching a fish

Fishing would be more satisfying with some feedback when you catch something instead of stuff just silently filling your inventory. Especially now with inv stacking very easy to not even notice a catch

Adding a short animation could make all the difference—like showing the fish being pulled up or a quick ‘caught’ message on-screen.

Audio cue when a fish is caught would be nice (assuming it isn't too sharp/loud.)

Lure fishing window would preferably be a persistent entity - every time it appears, it becomes the "active window" which effectively locks you out of using in-game chat while fishing, for example. Any log of caught fish should preferably be held there instead of bloating the "system" even more.
