one of the problems with nids is. that they are just less efficient than roach/ravager.

no but seriously. a nab getting ganked proppably hasnt found a mandrake a few hours before or after, and thus can never nidbane, and if his base got raided, there is 0 chance .
whereas , if you leave a scent that some faction boi picks up whose mandrakes would otherwhise rot, you are getting nidbombed intoo oblivion,
and cross faction pvp, just devolves, in every fight being followed up by hundreds of botted nidbane ICBMs crossing the globe, like in some cold war apocalypse.
as much as i would love. some more "out there" magic, and especially sending vengefull ghosts, or some nice little necromancy.
the current nid system isnt it.
generally. "log in or die", "log in and likely die" isnt a good system for anybody involved.
