so we uh already have the SWEETENER category and if one was to argue theres no sugar beet or sugar cane to make molasses out of ,,, theres PEKMEZ ,, turkish GRAPE molasses ....

correct me if i am wrong.
but isnt molasses specifically a residue product of sugar production?

actually sugarbeets sound like a addable thing, with a multi stage sugar extraction process. leaving you with different kinds of sugar and molasses

It is but i also stumpled upon many instances of things being called molasses whole being a concentrated evaporated juice like pekmez i mentioned
