Common Cold

I'm sick as hell right now and I'm wondering why you can't catch a cold and infect your friends in this game. Achoo.

Apparently this was a thing in Salem and it caused a griefing issue of other factions just leaving sick players outside of other places to get them sick...

Can someone else confirm this? I never actually played that awful game for more than 2 minutes.

Oh, hm, well that could be revisited adjusting some things by allowing the virus to remain dormant and infect people invisibly... and once they're sick they can't infect?

Maybe it could be a seasonal thing? Winter get the common cold and it just lowers your perception by -7, int-3, with soap being a cure for it, I don't get infections enough and they are pretty easy to clear by just healing the main wound.

And

Spring, allergies; picking flowers cause a -5 perception. Runny nose water eyes you know?

And with coughing it should make the players animal aggro ring bigger, like how crawling gives you less of a chance to get bugged by bats

I also think that's perfectly reasonable. It should be more of an annoyance than a game breaking thing!

Diseases in Salem exist to screw with afk players just like Tickling. They are easy to cure.
HnH lacks a safe main-hub anyway. There wouldn't even be a space for "passive" PvP like that. :|
