My proposal is that, if there is a burrow above a cave system, there should be a % chance for a hidden cave entrance to spawn inside. You go into the burrow and see a cave entrance, and enter the cave. If you exit the cave through the same way, return to the burrow (Much like a mine hole in a cellar). If the burrow is destroyed, it could spawn a 'natural minehole' to level 1 where the burrow was standing. Adding a rope to the hole will provide access to level 1 like a normal minehole. Or, alternatively, you could just destroy or collapse the cave entrance entirely when the burrow is destroyed.
Most burrows go unchecked often because there really isn't anything to do with them, and I think this could open up a huge opportunity for late players in an overpopulated area to get a chance to access the cave network without waiting for a minehole. Passing players unfamiliar to the area may not know about certain cave entrances hidden within burrows and will leave them untouched, unless they are looking for a cave entrance. It also adds a level of tactical deceit, as you could have a burrow on your claim for a variety of reasons, or for PVP it could add another method of infiltration into bases. Plus it would just look cool
