I have quite a bit of these, and some books I have read note that cobwebs have been used as wound dressings for most of history. Not that wool is hard to acquire, but would using these webs as an accelerated gauze be a good idea? Or using them for a different wound entirely? They are wasted n my cupboard waiting for a spider. Lets make them have a secondary use for foraging heavy playstyles! Is there an actual scientific use? Maybe no, but the Greeks and Romans used them as gauze effectively so we could too!
