I've always thought that you should get brain damage... make it happen when you stack too much brunt trauma or concussion and make it -10 intelligence. Make it permanent like Nasty Warts so that people need root to heal it.

Made wine few times, never faced that, is it even a thing?

yeah it's not a big thing. Typically it just makes your hands become a little more red then goes away after 4 days. It has no health risk and rarely do people notice because it's such a light change.

You are describing something that would be better added as an experience event rather than a wound.
