Early world Energy food~ food rations

As we saw this world, grub-grub and the like has become the staple of easy quick food. But to get this we've basically make alts farms that sit in thickets, before this we had alts logging into swamps and snatching up frogs for frog legs.
These easy energy food is just mass alt'ing.

I propose a crook-pot of of food~ any food item be it bug, meat, fruits, berries can be placed into a cauldron (or a new object to make it easier to understand). Once the cauldron has be filled with food, it should yield a large number of food rations.

grub-grub alt farm gets you 700% energy per 2 bugs (ticks) what general take less then 5 mins to fill an inventory. a whooping 17'500 energy of food. (5x5 inventory)
This should be the same with a single boar, or any animal just spit roasted~ but there not a single boar is about 1000 energy worth of food.

A new food rations food for high energy regen; drinking directly from the cauldron or eating from it to regen energy would be ideal.

+1000 aIt farming ticks is absurd but not doing it is just masochism.

and let's not forget realism - try to eat 2 ticks for "X hours worth of tree cutting energy"

good to have "filler item" with no fep and just +energy

Why is eating food the only way to refresh energy.
I think energy should be refreshed by sitting on a chair, bench. sitting down on the ground etc..

i honestly found splitting mirkwood, and digging essentially being free with odd tubers. to be more than sufficient to feed yourself.

if you are using 12 alts to dig, ofcourse you need more drastic measures.

I do not think early game food is hard or even slightly annoying in the current system. I highly doubt alt farming ticks is meta.

when there 5+ people cutting, building, running around~ energy food saps away quickly. Grub-grub from ticks were used by a majority of the factions because you just let alts sit in ticks collecting free bugs for 0 work.

Have you tested this recently? This didn't work when I tested it. Seems like it was an oversight.

No, I mean the rate of gaining them was super slow, maybe 1 tick per 5 minutes? I don't see how that's altworthy abuse to the point of needing to C&I about it. Either way I don't see this as "everyone must be slave to tick bot" it's "ticks were a silly oversight that should be fixed".

If ticks are fixed, the entire earlygame food system starts making sense again. Just make ticks inedible if it's really that big an issue.
