Cuting tool hardcap

In mining masonry is hard cap and mining tool is soft. Why in butchering animals is other way? I understand slowing progression, but that matters only to factions really. For most of playerbase that would be positive change.

Nah, quality just being how high you can raise survival on a dedicated alt that logs into a node every 15 minutes was dumb and should never go back.

We had that system, it lead to crazy quality inflation. I much prefer this one.

I do see the frustration that as a hermit depending on others via trade there's nothing you can do to boost your incoming bone/meat Q. No matter what stats you do, soon as you start trading with established groups your top Q is 100% locked to what you bought.

I can't think of a solution to that, other than the age old "smaller groups should be able to generate value (other than tokens) to trade with bigger factions in a way that makes both happy".
