Improve realm chat muting

Right now, chat muting (/mute) in realm chat is close to useless since players can change their names or log into new accounts to get around it. This leads to realm chats becoming dominated by one or a few users that frequently create new accounts to post inflammatory comments.

Instead, players should be able to automatically mute chatters who have been muted by too many of their kin. This will offload work of muting, making it so that one player's action only requires a few players' response rather than the response of everyone reading realm chat. It could also have a side benefit of encouraging new players to make friends with nearby neighbors who can do the muting for them.

you just conquer 25 hermit bases over night without ever getting close to them, not even having them discoverd on the map.
and they cant do shit against it, exept flaming the realmchat or quitting.

Change name doesn't work but they can use new account.

One of them new-fangled social medias does incorporate the idea of shared moderation. You can subscribe/unsubscribe to people's block lists. It's a good idea for game and for this forum.

The best answer is just make it so realm chat mute is account wide tbh. More tedious to launch another client to chat.

Its not censorship, these folks are just wasting everyone elses time. Not what they say but how often they say whatever. Also creating their own filters is kinda the request, just along the lines of " everyone has muted (X) should you. its not lazy at all , its just the desire to play the game and ignore a non game element. like you, I guess
