The current state of mining

How would people feel about increasing the mininum quality the deeper we go? Imo it would reduce the need to strip mine L9 and make mining less time consuming, maybe save your miners a mental breakdown for finding q80 ore on L9.

Pros:
- Less time spent looking for good nodes on deeper levels
- Maybe a bit less botting

I'm wondering how many miners are happy/frustrated with the current mining system.

sadly mining became a non-casual activity, slowly devs increased requirements, added invisible walls
you better payup big groups for tools/discoveries or just forget it and go full larp, playing once a month

Finding quality 40 malachite on -9 is not a good experience, materials should absolutely have at least some minimum quality the lower you go even if mining is rewarding, i'm not saying make all ores 400ql on -9, but maybe smth like 20ql more each level after -1, so at -1 it's 10ql minimum, at -2 it's 30 ... at -9 it's 170. The top quality ores would still be WAY above the minimum and you wouldn't find absolute fucking trash that's not even good for curio making.

It's same deal as mammoths going from 80ql to 400+ql, huge rng ranges like this make the activities tedious.
