1. Remove the trespassing toggle in village claim settling as it doesn't do anything. Everyone, including raiders and those with criminal debuffs are allowed to trespass in villages no matter what so this toggle has no reason for exiting
2. Flesh out permissions into their own categories into of cramming everything into 4 main categories. For example, why is Animal management tried into vandalism instead of it's own thing?
3. Raiders have all the advantages and I do mean all of them.
3.1 Want to set up a new wall or repair broken wall section? You have to pray the raiders leave you alone for 3 real life days.
3.2 Want to memorize them to warn fellow villagers? They are immune to memorize, it doesn't work on them. Or rather they have pvp clients that show your memorize range allowing them to effortless move out of range (even when galloping towards the wall at full speed) and prevent defenders from knowing who's harassing them without going outside and at that point you're dead and memorize doesn't work while in combat anyways.
3.3 To be able to even see any scents they leave behind, you have to have similar stats to them which 9 times out of 10 you won't, especially if they manage to ambush your village's strong players if you have any.
3.4 Nidbanes are notoriously weak from what I've been hearing thus even with the scent it's impossible to get revenge against persistent raiders to get them to stop
3.5 Defense towers decay (and at impossible to manage fast rates) while catapults do not and catapults outrange the towers anyways
3.6 The raiders control the initiative and defenders are completely at their mercy as they are already organized and on the move while the defender is not. You never know when they're outside your base, lurking just beyond visual range. They also know where you live and keep returning while you don't know where they live unless by some miracle you have someone strong enough to see the scents they leave behind and trace it back to their hearth. ANd cause of this, defenses cant safety leave their base without getting ambushed by raiders and progress is severely crippled
3.7 Catapults have no drying period, so soon as peace is broken, raiders can spam build catapults and destroy everything
And what does that leave defenders? Nothing but a wall to hide behind that raiders chip away on a daily basis till it's gone. Give defenders a freaking bone, especially against endgame players bullying weaker players.
You want to know why people are so desperate for pve servers? It's because you never address this fundamental problem. Trolls go out of their way to make sure their victims can't recover and it leads people to quit your game cause they're tired of it, something the trolls gloat about.
That said, change memorize to guarantee that it always works if the target is in territory you own, make it far easier to see scents at the very least, and give some kind of grace period for fixing walls persistent trolls keep hand bashing.
4. Rawhide is overpowered and needs it's range reduced
5. Wells need a soak value to deter griefing considering how overpriced the "Dig Deeper" spell is. All the public wells have been destroyed.
6. Give back the slider on Landscaping. The new system might be better for making slopes, but it's worse for making perfectly flat land.
7. Allow identifying players by their scents, the same type that you'd get from using memorize
