Stone throwing

Let players throw rocks, 0.5 to 0.75 range of a sling, plain 5-10 damage.
I see no reason of not having this.

I wish players could toss any item, especially stones. And conkers.
Not sure about 5-10 damage. Is it meant to replace Sling for lil birbs hunting or not?

Yeah I mean it has to do some damage, in ancient times rock throwers were among army ranks(same as slingers, but they required less space than sligners), good thrower might easily crack the skull of uncovered head.

At 0.5-0.75 sling distance it'll still be challenging not to cause critter flee for most of players, although again I see no reason not being able to throw rokes at my weaker brothers.
Though newbies could be able to cheese non-armored animals from dugouts and bats in caves on day 1, making them equal to cheesers, they not gonna like this addition.

Yes but have you considered that, if you live in a glass house you shouldn't throw rock, so I think we need glass pali first

Even with 1 HP damage stone throwing could be used to farm mole skin before clover. Yes, it depends on throw range and aim/windup delay – might be just too slow for mole hunting. Still can be used to farm hedgehogs (mostly for quills). Quite a change for the first-day balance

Rock Crystal can be treated as a sort of glass to some extent.
Still, can't see how throwing rock can be an issue

Same feel as "we can walk so implementing walking on bridges doesn't sound too hard"
