It's because this niche genre (deep social/crafting/building mmo) just doesn't have other options that are remotely up to date. The other two that are any good are ATitD and Wurm. Both of which haven't meaningfully changed in 10+ years. Bitcraft was a remarkable and unfortunate failure. Social MMOs as a whole are just super rare, a relic of a bygone era. Even rust has pve servers lol. The game that's basically entirely about griefing people.

Trust me if I had any options to not deal with people like you on this forum I'd take it in a heartbeat.

You don't even need the various different social interactions possible for the game to be fun.
I think they should release Haven and Hearth as a single player game.
It has the same vibe as minecraft or stardew valley.

Singleplayer game with weeks of time-gating is very fun for sure. Without waiting for 3 days for crops and other things, this game will be out of content in couple days.
