Questing quality boost => Rarer and global

Questing quality boost => Rarer and global

Remove local boosts, and only reward Q boosts to wandering sage characters. Obviously we'd also need to make the Q boosting rarer than it is now as well.

Minor change, interesting and fair long term impact. Give deep worlders something to work together on, and a source of truly infinite quality grind.

definitely love the idea of certain quality grinds being global, long term and community driven. you could just make them 0.1q increases if it's too powerful. could even be cool to track it and somehow make a leaderboard for biggest contributors. +1
Total misplay.

That feels like an kindof bad incentive structure. You expect me to do [most boring activity in the game] to unlock the ability for everybody to cycle their anvil? If anything that's a disadvantage for me, since I just spent all my time questing instead of cycling an anvil, unlike everybody else. Free rider problem and all that.

I feel like you're forgetting that there has never been a person who enjoyed questing. It has only ever been done begrudgingly for rewards. I'm ready to be proven wrong, but if there are no rewards there are no questers. If there are rewards I will shit my pants in anger and mail them to Jorbtar's house, because like everybody else I do not want to feel obligated to quest.

Sure, but consider the following, fuck those people who enjoy doing it. If they want to do it make it upgrade for everyone, if not then oh well. I'd prefer for the quality increase to be completely removed but if the alternative is this or it not being removed i pick this tbh.

I like questing actually. Most people who do are hermits or small villagers. I do not want anyone to be forced to quest.

No I don't expect you do to this. You don't need to. This is only for people who want to do it. That's why it's completely global, factions are not forced to do anything. You lose nothing by choosing not to participate in the communal grind.

If anything, you can see this as "No one can abuse this mechanic anymore, and it has now become 100% optional"

It could be done in weighting/voting system, e.g. once in a week there will be +1 quality globally or per continent with several variations to be taken.
Based on actions of players on this global quest the buff will be determined

And I’d like emphasize it’s not about asking hermits to click for dandelion q +1, but do some effort, skill and stats demanding actions to put weight on decision
