Was suggest long time ago at this topic: (viewtopic.php?f=48&t=61044&p=776848), but anyway.
When crafting a tool or weapon with a Smithy's Hammer, you now have the option to engrave the item. If you do, the item's description will display the line Engraved. Using a Magnifying Glass on an engraved item will reveal the creator's name in the following format:
====================
Created by PlayerName
====================
Where "======================" is a combination of random special characters determined by the player's character ID
If the creator has the "Blacksmith" credo, the colors of the special symbols and text string will change depending on various parameters(anvil materials, moon phase, presence of a star shard, etc.)
Example:
@*$%!)$^@#(!)$^@*$^@!#@*)
Lavaforged by Examplename
@*$%!)$^@#(!)$^@*$^@!#@*)
Dungeons have a low chance of dropping a special item — Colorless Teardrop. If you're the creator of an engraved item, you can change the item's name by applying it to the item (the original name will be in the item description). The item's name color will remain unchanged, but you can mix the teardrop with any pigment to change the color before applying it to the item. Using the Sketchbook, anyone can reset an item's name/color and engraving status, but you still need to be the original creator to apply a new engraving.
