w16.1 critique

Postby TemuWarrior » Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:26 am

w16.1 is experimental world - as you said

You did ask us for ideas to experiment with, we did provide them. C&I thread is full of interesting threads (after filtering ofc)

Instead

You implemented bullshit amount of non-requested additions and treat us like a guinea pig.

You didn't announce anything meaningful in w16.1 post. We waste time figuring out things that are not fun.

I don't know what's wrong with both of you but I hope you get better over time

>plays the "experimental" world
>complains about being a guinea pig

There's plenty of valid things to criticize, but I'm gonna have to diagnose you with tubby retard syndrome for this 1

There’s a difference between being a willing tester and being blindsided by unannounced, unrelated changes.
If the developers want meaningful feedback, then there should be a clearer agreement about what “experimental” actually entails.

Players shouldn’t feel like involuntary guinea pigs for features no one asked for. And developers shouldn’t assume that “experimental” means zero communication.

Also shut up retard

this world doesn't even have unexpectedly weird or overarching changes compared to previous worlds

minor changes upsetting you is a sign of 'tism (same tbh)

I really hate to agree with Charlie, but if you play on the experimental test server, you shouldn't bitch and complain about experimental features. It's not like it came out of nowhere and you're a guinea pig against your will. You chose to play in 16.1.

(it's not an experimental world that's a big cope)
(he has my permission to be indigent and rant like a manchild once they don't fix the bad parts of their changes after 3 months (like with oceans and winter))
