Also to add, a bit off topic. But Haven and hearth/haven and hearth 2/hafen is not longer the PVP centered game that it used to be since legacy/since world 7/since it went from pixel 2D to 3D.
Sure legacy/old haven and hearth was fun and all, but it's main drive was the PVP and permadeath and no offensive to the dear great devs, those were the only pulls back then, other stuff were only boosts to the PVP, like many pvpers who can't seem to come term with. Legacy Haven farming was to boost stats for pvp, mining to get that metal for pvp and so on. But hey if you want that PVP there's still legacy to play tou your hearts content.
But now in haven and hearth 2/hafen the games has greatly evolved for better or worse (depends who you ask, personally Devs for me its better) now not everything is pvp centered or even permadeath has been softned, still there, but more or less a distant memory of what it was, while PVP is more or less, meh it's there, but there's a shit ton of other things to do. Farming is no longer for pvp, but for other stuff like crafting, making clothes, curios, completing credos, quests, trading and so on, same with mining. Also we have so many other PVE creatures.
Like before in legacy there were only handful of pve creatures that challanged a player, first was boar, then bear and finally a troll and that's it (to my memory), but current haven and hearth offers you so much, asides the usual animals, now we have moose, pack or wolves and when you can easily beat them, then you get "world bosses" like gaint snail, whale and mammoth and hey you can beat them too, here's dungeons (solo I mean mainly), like PVP becomes a second thought or simply you could play without. Like buying Rage only to spam Nidbanes for them pesky pvpers XD.
As much as many people cling to the nostalgia that haven and hearth is a pvp game, it's not really, not anymore, but hey there's still legacy, so go nuts in there.
So as my suggestion why not try to test a mini dlc for a mini world purely for pvp, while default haven and hearth stays the middle ground between pvp and pve (which kind of is).
Or heck let us play in character creator section, so the character is saved when logged out and it doesn't restart, since I swear you could in theory teraform and build stuff and study curios in character creator.
