Big Tuna!

Lol Nice office reference

While you are deep ocean fishing you should be able to run into tuna schools, they would be creatures that spawn in groups that you need to fish up. Once fished up, you would end up with the large fish "lifted" over your head like an animal corpse and store on your boat as a liftable object like a dead animal. Then at home, you could scale and butcher the tuna like anglers. I personally do not imagine fighting them, but I guess thatd be fine too. Could also add other animals to the deep ocean just for some more ocean stuff to hunt - Swordfish, Giant Squid, or sharks perhaps.

Would be interested in hearing other ideas for deep ocean content other than whaling.

Would add some variety to the deep oceans for ocean content. Could even make a special fishing pole for it out of metal or smthn. If it were me, I would also add a couple cool recipes to make out of them (tuna salad, buttered tuna steak, etc.)
Is this the real life?
Or is it fantasy?
Caught in a landslide...
No escape from reality...

I like the idea of fighting them, kind of as an intro to whaling and something you can encounter closer to land, so you can start dipping your toes into ocean content with just a snek.

I'd love to see more content added to the oceans. A trawling ship could be a cool way to add these, a slow sea faring boat that has a net that can be lowered into the deep water to pull up larger fish. I could also see adding more fightable creatures to the oceans, i'd love to see some classic monsters like what you would see on old nautical maps.
