This ruins core aspect of the game... would more interesting if they do something about getting kod in the water, 99% hermits die cause of this. It's very retarded, you should teleport back even so.

A new cooking Wildgrub tier recipe: "Undercooked Slop", 2xFrog/Toad + 2xEntrails + 2x any Berry + 2x any Bark, minimal FEP and Energy gain, huge Hunger bar hit, gives the effect "Bloated and Gassy" that prevents you from drowning if KOed in the water, 1 charge.
Also higher tier recipe with the same effect but better FEP/Energy/Hunger - "Cheesy Breezy", takes milk, pickled onions, pickled herring and 4x any Cheese (variable FEP affected by the cheese used).

Core aspect of clicking "drop all" button on custom client and then just leaving the gear on the floor?
I think its time to change this core aspect of the game.

your post is about full loot vs some loot, i say the core aspect is full loot and somehow you bring some custom client stuff.. but okay, that should suggest you cant drop everything fast enough without some button? i don't understand properly

Over protecting habitually bad players is not the right idea.

You need to focus on learning how to recover from losses instead of begging Jorb to protect you from them

And then after that maybe, just maybe, learn how to use the tools and systems the devs have already added and finally learn how to stop losing things you can't afford to lose.

I play the game and I know what happens.
If you get knocked out as a new player all your shit get dropped even when it doesn't have value.
Sure its fine if your opinion is that you want maximum damage against new players. As it stands right now we have a very small playerbase and this might have something to do with it. Expert players are overly punishing noobs.
Just because current experts went through extreme abuse they now think everyone has to go through it.
I find it silly.

As a bonus I'm sure the people that keep losing pvp fights or the weaker side will be happy to see this added as it wont be a tedious grind to get the gear back.
If you make it less punishing to get back into the fight maybe more people will get into it?
In a good pvp game like Albion online its incredibly cheap to buy a new gearset for pvp and that game has a massive playerbase fighting each other all the time.

For those interested, this was discussed here, among many other topics.

We tried a while back to introduce a rate-limit timer on stealing from k/os, but that was apparently highly controversial. Would not mind making changes here, but would also love to see some buy-in from the communitaah.

In the interest of buy-in, I would support a rate limit for looting K.O.'d and dead hearthlings. Escape from Tarkov has a feature where each item in a bag must be searched before looting it. 3 items total seems pretty ridiculous though, I'd like such a timer to allow something like 6-12 items before the victim auto-hearths home. Particularly if un-searched items were not known to the looter and could not be dropped/interacted with, à la Tarkov. Perhaps the timer could be modified depending on the stats of the hearthlings in question.

Also, modify (read: drastically increase) the time required to loot a belt based on the contents of the belt. Looting an empty belt, or looting items from 'inside' the belt, should still be slower than the normal time.

P.S. This is a salient point:
