Narwhal body should take longer to destroy

Right now narwhal body is destroyed INSTANTLY by other narwhals, no 'knocking' sound or nothing else, just gone the very same second they are killed. It makes fighting multiple narwhals kind of broken and useless.
Give us at least 3 or 4 seconds to act and change position so we can actually butcher animals we killed please.
