A joke is a joke, but I'd love to see a leather tablecloth.
Although they've been made of fabric since ancient times, I haven't found any mention of leather tablecloths.

If I'm a hunter and I don't have fields of hemp or flax, but I have plenty of hides, why can't I cover the table with them?

Ratcloth tablecloth should also require Dried rat hides as a material and visually have rat tails dangle down from it's sides like the Rat hat.
