Let me elaborate then, I somehow thought by 2026 everyone on planet should speak French fluently.
There's an old French delicacy recipe using Ortolan bird, which is comparable by size to sparrow or tit.
Once caught, it's force fed to get fat, then after being drowned in Armagnac brandy, it's marinated there.
Consuming it cooked has a tradition of covering face with a sheet either out of guilt, or just for better experience of smell and stuff, opinions differs.

I think I've found about this quirky French tradition while watching the third season of Atlanta, the episode also covered Tarrare, which now that I think about it, has a lot in common with average FEP minmaxxer in H&H
