Hi there! I've been using the client for a while now and getting crashes from time to time with no error messages, but I properly updated my Java yesterday (which may have been the issue) and hadn't had any crashes until just now.

It occurred when right clicking on a WIP building sign, and I've replicated it three times with the game shutting down each time. I also tried playing with just the default game too, with no crashing. The game gave me the following error~

Code: Select all
1.58.0.697f3571
Windows 10 10.0 x64, 1.8.0_144 amd64
Intel (Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500) - 4.4.0 - Build 20.19.15.4549

java.lang.NullPointerException
    at haven.Widget.makechild(Widget.java:402)
    at haven.UI.newwidget(UI.java:159)
    at haven.RemoteUI.run(RemoteUI.java:66)
    at haven.MainFrame.run(MainFrame.java:268)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Update the client. The version you're using is pretty old.

Immersion in H&H :?

Sorry, but it's very unlikely I'll be adding any new features in the near future.

lol, :D

Fair enough...
Appreciate the client and your work as it stands with it's already awesome set of features.. >.>

@Ptolus: replied via PM. It's the relatively common tech issue with notebook computers.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Kirckets will be in this week's update (assuming there is a patch this week). Irrlight - I don't know the res name. If anyone manages to shift+hover over it, please post the resource name.

Ore dropping issue is, well... an issue currently. It will drop literally anything put into the inventory when toggled on. The way to solve it is to compile a list of all possible rock & ore resources. PRs are welcome.

Could you implement a 'pause' key that freezes updates to the world, but still accepts input from the user?
Else it will be somewhat difficult to hover over it...
