Nope, it's the most useless feature that would take too much time to add.

Use a cupboard and alt+click if you need to sort some items by quality

What do you use it for, that you need to use it so often?
I get a feeling you people use that button to sort 3 stones every 5 minutes or something.

people have no idea how much time went into this client, and the fact is open source is great for Haven too...

What do you mean by alt-click? I'll describe the use case. I just mined a few chests worth of ore. I want to take the best ore from the haul to use in my best smelter with best coal. I use auto-sort button and i can conveniently see the best ore at the top, without looking through all the stacks in all the chests. No need to manually move every single item and remember qualities. Silk making to sort eggs and pair off the best moths. I could go on. Its absolutely integral feature in all parts of industry.

Sounds to me like you're doing the same thing I'm doing here, but with extra useless steps.

Anyway the effort it would take to take this one feature from ender and probably break every single inventory in loftar's vanilla client just cause you can't spend 1 minute sorting your ore after mining for 3 hours is not worth it for me.
But both my code and ender's code is open source, so feel free to add it to your own fork

Do you have a cheese stages on the racks display, like ender client has? I was looking for it, but didn't found any, maybe you could advice?
