You are totally wrong :)

Being a computer science major, I do have to agree with both these sources as this is what my books tell me

Being a programmer with more then 10 years of experience i can tell you that you are wrong :shock:

Even old dogs can be wrong. On top of that I never said that they are the same languages. I never had said that, yet you keep quoting me as if I had and implying what I said was that. Please learn to use my own grammar properly before even trying to argue the rather, I know your Russian and I am assuming English isn't your first language. As for the languages, I was stating Syntax wise they are very similar and comparatively to someone who doesn't really program like the majority of this community then they are very similar. Compiler level, they are of course not and are very different as well for some key features such as classes and way variables are handled. Now you keep saying I am wrong yet the evidence I provided is of course not wrong and in fact all I said was the actual purpose of Javascript which was to be deployed on webpages which is of course stated almost everywhere that it's purpose is for webpages, which is true. It was not intentionally made use for botting api and scripts. And of course most languages if not any by the TM theorems can be used for othe rpurposes as long as they provide the needed power in their level of category and interpretation but it does not mean that the language was targeted for that specific field or audience even if the audience decides to use it as such which can make the process of using such API difficult at times when trying to extend it for specific tasks and create certain structures. So good day, go troll another forum.

Sorry if I'm slightly off topic ;), but is there a way to reload the script.js without restarting the client?

There is this analogy, Imagine that all the knowledge you have is in the form of a rope, in your case, you have just enough rope to hang yourself. Algorithm nailed it a page ago, you clearly aren't experienced in different paradigms enough to comment on the matters of what javascript is, and isn't useful for. Javascript has undergone dramatic changes over the years, and the sources you like to cite are probably referring to when javascript was mainly used for webpages, now a days it has a wide range of uses. I don't use javascript myself, as I'm not a big fan of it. But even I can't deny the usefulness it has in the world at the moment.

What's funny is the claim that javascript isn't suited for bots or scripting api's, however javascript was heavily influenced by languages such as scheme and lisp (javascript being a functional language as the prime point), both of which are quite heavily used in AI / Bots.

Instead of **** size compare, perhaps stay on topic would be awesome.

No, as far as I have seen there isn't a reload script. To handle this I made a jar which builds the script upon the start of the client for when I switch between accounts, aka reloading the script.

Is onFlowerMenuOpen not being called for anyone else?

I added
print("flower menu came...");
as first line in it, and that never appears, also the things that should happen inside it don't.

This is an issue, if it a specific menu option you are looking for you can do the select menu item immediately if you know it there.
