Amber Client

hoi, i switched to amber client today. When i start the run.bat i get this error message: "A Java exception has occured". I used Ender client before which worked fine (except since the update today)

When i run debug i get the following: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Unsupported major.minor version 52.0

running java version 7 update 80

You will need to upgrade to Java 8. This client works only with 8 and later.

Normally, updated resources would be downloaded automatically by the client, though. Have you removed this for some reason?

I have some registry issue which prevents this from happening. With legacy I had to have everything in a custom-res folder and default didn't work at all. I haven't had any issues with the hafen client so far.
I have tried to build the registry manually, but it's never worked.

edit: except now I get this with default and amber just freezes viewtopic.php?f=47&t=47800

For some reason, I am unable to quite a few things.
1. See my health bar, stamina, energy, etc.
2. See agro box on the right side.
3. Zoom out on :cam bad

Know how to fix this?
I can zoom out on :cam ortho, but my heatlh, etc still doesn't show.

I've tried pressing space for the health bar, etc but it doesn't do anything.

EDIT: just tried purus' client and it fixed everything but the :bad cam zooming

That error message complains about not finding that specific resource, so make sure you have all the needed files and/or updated the client.

Try increasing "Bad camera scrolling sensitivity" in Control Settings. Should be same on Shubla's client.

Your client is still not showing my energy bar, etc. :C
The camera scrolling sens did help with the camera.
