anyone having issues with amber freezing after being open for a while?

for me, amber's memory seems to bloat (i can literally watch it go up in task manager) up until it gets to ~1GB then it just freezes.. usually takes a few hours of the client being open but i could just be idling in a house doing nothing and it still happens

After getting everything setup I realized that there is no res folder

It's not created by default you'll need to make one yourself. It should be named res.

I've created a folder in the main client folder called res and I put the cupboard res file into it but the cupboards ingame have stayed the same

I reloaded the client and it's the same thing as well.

Do I need to make more sub-folders within the res folder?

romovs wrote:@All,
For flat cupboards create res folder inside the client's folder and follow marvi's instructions.
You should end up with something like this:
res/gfx/terobjs/cupboard.res
res/gfx/terobjs/crate.res
res/sfx/clonk.res
res/sfx/creakdoor.res

Solved

Requesting that the auto-steel bot can use stick piles as well as coal. We exclusively use sticks to fuel steel during the low quality phase (first 3/4), as they are much, much easier to bulk produce than coal. This means we cant utilize your beautiful bot :(

I was under the impression that the quality of fuel is completely irrelevant when it comes to fueling Steel Crucible, only the quality of the crucible, slotted coal and wrought iron affects the end product. What's a "low-quality phase"?

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Bar_of_Steel -> Wrought bar is softcapped by avg of crucible, coal and fuel.

Fuel quality is counted as the average of the fuel present when the item finishes, so a common technique for smelters is to use 11 low quality coal, and once it burns out refill with 1 high quality coal to finish off the smelter load.

Similarly for steel, you can let the steelbox burn down low (say to 10%) before the last refill, then fill it to 100% with high quality fuel. The fuel quality average will be weighted 9/10 towards the higher fuel quality in this example.
