For some reason I have a giant white dot in the center of all my hides when I looked at them in tanning tubs/racks. They aren't like that from stockpiles though. They're also like that in my study menu. Any reason why? It didn't happen before.

Will fix. Meanwhile you can enable one of the "Display item completion ..." options in Display Settings. Those should work correctly.

That might be due to the chnages I merged from the default client. Could you check whether it happens on the default client (using same camera mode)?

yeah, was working fine until i changed the client to the newer version, also tried with different cameras, and hearted too, nothing: just make three steps and nothing more. found also some weirdness while trying to build anything, base coordinates seems to be messed up (circle area of effect of a mine support showed the item to be built some tiles offset from the toon and mouse pointer)

But does it work or not on the default client?

Ah, it seems the default client hasn't been actually updated yet to include those changes
Looking for a solution...

I'll release a fix tomorrow. Enable one of the "Display item completion ..." options in Display Settings meanwhile to see the progress.

I can't get the character position to work.
From the run.bat I add -p Position to the target line at the end right? With that it does not create any file to link
map merger to, atleast that I can find?
