ok so whenever I run the file, it says its downloading hafen.jar and then just stops near the end and closes itself and that's it. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks for whoever it was. It works on 64 java, but besides that.
If there is an update for original client does ender client updates too or do I need to launch the original and then ender's client to "activate" the updates?

client updated:
  • added more options how to show item quality (average, min, max, E/S/V)
  • reworked radar and added ui to configure it. Now radar config is stored in radar.xml

Some wishes i would like to see implemented:

- make the cross on the minimap depicting the player transparent for right-clicking
- hide boat the player is sitting in on minimap
- other option than shift/ctrl/alt to show all 3 qualities (make the hotkey configureable freely would be best)
- make ctrl+1/2 work even when UI is hidden
- always make full UI visible on login
- not have local chat active (having focus) on login
- hotkey to get directly to radar settings
- something to auto-assign a quickbar slot for vessels containing water, this annoys me most

Apart from that: Thanks for the great client, nice update!

Focus is a real bitch in this client, i tried to do that in mine but utterly failed :P

There were some changes to focus mechanics in one of the last commits in the official client, might be more doable now.

If your UI is being hidden when you log in all you need to do is reveal your hp/stam/energy bars, then hide/unhide either the map or the actions menu with the little arrow buttons, then restart your client. This apparently updates the save state of the UI, which is probably how it ended up being hidden to begin with.

Apart from these things though, I'd also really like to see:

-Hotkeys for unlocking the map, :cam bad and one for using the brightness setting as a night vision toggle.
-Show radius option

Client updated:
  • added option to show biome name on minimap. If mouse is over minimap it shows name of biome it is over, otherwise it shows biome player is in.
  • sort wounds by size if names are equal
  • stop gap fix IndexOutOfBoundsException: Required 1 remaining elements in buffer, only had 0 - it does not fix issue, just makes client don't crash outright. It will crash eventually near problematic objects, but hopefully, you'll have time to move away before that.
  • fixed options for brightness and quality type not reading properly
  • don't show tooltips or react to clicks on player gob on minimap
  • added option to show item progress as number
  • added option to swap item quality and number
  • by default take all items from a stockpile

Here is my wish list:
Ability to turn on simple crops (anything to help with crappier computers)
Ability to turn off ground meshing or whatever its called so you can see distinct tiles (easier to plant trees)
Ability to turn off friendly fire for people added to your list as certain colors.

Problems with your client:
Chicken and rabbit corpses show up as white dots..... similar to players. This is very scary. you need to not display stuff that looks like players

Ender, I've been using your client for the past 3 worlds and swear by it; I would have likely quit this game long ago if I had stuck with the terrible default UI. That said, I've recently been forced to employ the Amber client as well as yours for no reason other than they they actually have a feature to show the current growth % of a tree or bush. Please consider adding it into yours!
